How to Upload a Résumé in the Opportunities Database

Introduction
The Opportunities Database is a great tool for career planning and the career development process. However, to get all of the benefits of the system, it is necessary to upload a résumé. Following is an outline of all the steps necessary to complete this process.

Why Upload a Résumé
Without a résumé in the system, you will not have full to all Opportunities Database features. If you have a résumé in the system, you'll be able to view full-time positions, internships, cooperative education position, career fairs, on-campus recruiting information and other important career-related opportunities. More importantly, your résumé will be included in employer searches for potential applicants. Once you have full access to the system, you will receive regular communication from the UNO Counseling and Career Center regarding career events related to your major and job opportunities that may interest you.

Uploading Your Résumé

  1. Create a résumé. If you need assistance creating a résumé, visit our Résumé pages.
  2. Log-in to the Opportunities Database.
  3. Roll your mouse over the "My Account" menu option and click "My Documents."
  4. Click the "Upload File" option under the "Resumes" heading of Employment Related Categories
