Utilizing a combination of interviews, specialized assessments and career exploration assignments, career counselors assist students in identifying and clarifying their personal and professional goals, areas of interest, career-related personality traits and other factors which influence job choice and contribute to job satisfaction. So you've settled on a career and you're about to graduate. Now what? Finding gainful employment in one's field of choice can be a daunting task, especially for a first time job-seeker. Résumés must be written, cover letters created, interview questions prepared, and even interview-appropriate attire selected. The UNO Counseling and Career Center can assist with all of these objectives. We can help you select verbiage so your resume will wow potential employers.
