The UNO Counseling and Career Center sponsors or co-sponsors all career days and job fairs at the University of New Orleans. These events are intended to provide employers and students with an opportunity to meet on the "grand scale." Students are encouraged to attend career fairs and related events to explore the variety of opportunities available for training and employment. Employers are encouraged to attend at least one career fair per year as a means of fostering and maintaining awareness about their organizations. Listed below is information about our annual career fairs and similar events.
The Part-Time/On-Campus Job Fair (FreshFest) is held at the beginning of the fall semester and is usually associated with Welcome Week. This event is casual and usually held outside, so job-seekers and employers are encouraged to dress casually and comfortably. Please visit our FreshFest page for additional information.
Our Fall Career Day is the premier career day at the University of New Orleans. It is scheduled before On Campus Recruiting starts in order to allow employers an opportunity to meet potential recruits prior to one-on-one interviews. Please visit our Career Expo page for additional information.
